creative critisism

looking back on the project i think it went okay to say the least that its my first track, i kind of understand the software alot better and i reckon if i needed to which i will, i would be able to do this without any failure *fingers crossed*

looking at the track that ive done it could be better if i highered the sensitivity within boujou, then i would of got the point i hoped to lock the track to... the reason for this when the camera pans down it looks really flat... and in a way i guess rotated on x basis. I did try to rotate it on the x axis to try n counter act the rotation.

In all i think its more of the knowledge i gained from this project. Rather than using it in film... but now ive dabbled with it i would be able to integrate it into films.. and with the help of multiple passes it can work out on film rather than in head.

Dabbling

okay so ive been dabbling over the weekend with where i left off with jeremy and it seems i understand the tracking data after interpreting the x and y co-ordinates only bad thing is where i want my track to be... there is no tracking point consistently there so ive had to link it to a corner point and tessellate the data with the x and y co-ordinates

After this i could take it into After Effects...

to the point where i want to poke my eyes out....

its tedious and shockingly bad...

and unless you understand the software, your fudged!

but avast... i found jeremy and im not letting him leave till i get some form of track.

just been given a lesson into matchmove and mocha understand the process alot better but its still a different boat ride when your doing it for yourself.... after the lesson i went and did some recording with josh... and now its just understanding the footage and the controls....

even after many hours youtub'ing how to do the track and get it working fine... i drew a blank luckily jem was walking in the corridoor and me n josh grabbed him without him saying anything and he sat down next to us... and tried to make us understand...
